About Life Between Culture
We make shirts for the kids who grew up translating menus for their parents, getting side-eyed by their Titas/Aunties, and somehow speaking two languages without ever "officially" learning either.
Founded in 2026, Life Between Cultures started with one idea: the space between cultures isn't a gap — it's home. Doesn't matter if your grandma's Lola or Abuela or Nai Nai, if your family communicates in food, or if your group chat never sleeps — different countries, same script. We've all got a Tita with a theory, a couch you're not allowed to sit on, and a suitcase that somehow always ends up full of Tupperware.
We keep the quality as real as the jokes. Soft, durable tees that survive family hugs, road trips, and however many washes your mom insists on doing "her way." Comfort isn't a nice-to-have here — it's the whole point, because you shouldn't have to choose between looking good and actually being able to breathe at the family reunion.
Every design starts with something specific — a saying, a ritual, an inside joke — because that's what makes people stop scrolling and go "wait, that's literally my family." We're not trying to be everyone's brand. We're trying to be the one that gets it, no explanation needed.
As we grow, the mission stays simple: make apparel for the people who grew up in-between — and make it good enough to wear every single day. 😌
